5 Days No Sugar Challenge – I Lived to Tell the Tale!
HOW TO QUIT SUGAR IN 5 DAYS
An easier approach to quitting refined sugar in 5 days
In this video, I’m going to show you how to quit sugar in 5 days – or how to remove refined sugar from your diet over 5 days.
When I decided to give up processed sugar for good, a couple of years ago – I didn’t really know where to begin, or how to actually do it. Soon I realized that refined processed sugar was in almost everything.
So in this video, I’m going to show you how you can practically start to give up refined sugar in 5 days. I have found that if you’re used to eating sugar all the time, and then try to give up everything that could possibly contain sugar in just 1 day – it can feel like torture, and it’s usually not sustainable.
So I thought I’d show you how you can take just 5 days to start to change your diet, and remove refined sugar from your diet – using 5 simple steps.
And when you make an effort to eat less processed sugar, you may start to notice that you have better sustained energy, more energy, less sugar crashes, and just feel better overall.
But don’t you worry, just because it’s refined sugar free, doesn’t mean it needs to taste like cardboard. I’ve got you covered with some yummy recipes and ideas that are healthier.
Let me know if you decide to try this 5 day no sugar challenge, and also if you have any other tips for reducing sugar intake!

I just finished my 10 day sugar detox. That included all carbs and even fruit sugars. The socind and third day I had a lingering headache. Another day I was irritable. But overall, I feel better! Natural things taste better and you can taste the sweetness in things you wouldn’t think would be sweet. Also, sweet drinks including 100% juice are too sweet now and I prefer them diluted or not at all. I had some hiccups and did eat minuscule tastes of refined sugar foods. And in the process found foods that I thought didn’t have sugar actually did and had to stop eating them, like my cashew butter. Who knew! After the ten day kick off I feel good about continuing to eat no to low amounts of sugary foods and healthy carbs.
So thank you for more ideas!
