EASY SNACKS I ATE TO LOSE 42 LBS
These are some easy snacks I used to eat when I was losing weight. They’re all low calorie, healthy, simple to make, and ideal for weight loss or a healthy diet. Plus, everything is gluten and dairy-free, and vegan!

RECIPES
BANANA + CREAMY PB SAUCE
Ingredients:
– 1 tbsp peanut butter (mix w/ 2 tbsp water and 1 tsp maple syrup)
– 1 banana
– Sprinkle of cinnamon
Calories: roughly 220
CHOCOLATE PROTEIN TRUFFLES
Ingredients:
– 1/2 cup protein powder (1 + 1/2 scoops or 34g)
– 1/4 cup almond butter
– 2 tbsp cocoa powder
– 2 tbsp maple syrup
– Pinch of cinnamon
– Pinch of salt
– 1 tbsp coconut oil (add at end)
*Dust in cocoa powder + put in fridge for 30-60 min
Calories: Makes 20 at 40 calories each (5 truffles per 200 cal serving)
CLEMENTINE YOGURT DIPS
Ingredients:
– 1 clementine (or mandarin, or naartjie)
– 1 tbsp plain yogurt (or as needed)
*Break up clementine, dip into yogurt (half dip) and freeze for 30-60 min
Calories: 1 clementine (35 cal) + 1 tbsp yogurt (6 cal) = 41 calories for an entire dipped clementine
MANGO RASPBERRY SMOOTHIE
Ingredients:
– 3/4 to 1 cup plain yogurt (low fat dairy, or coconut)
– 1 cup frozen mango
– 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
– 1 tsp maple syrup
Calories: Roughly 200
Protein: 10g (with low fat dairy yogurt)
MEDITERRANEAN HUMMUS DIP
Ingredients:
– 1/4 cup plain hummus
– 1 tbsp sun dried tomatoes
– Olives (2-4 sliced)
– Fresh basil (optional)
– Pepper
Serve with:
– Cucumber slices or crackers
Calories: Roughly 200 served with cucumber slices
