Healthy “Nutella” Apple Rings (vegan, dairy-free, sugar-free)

Are you a Nutella lover? Who am I kidding, we are all Nutella lovers. Are you a Nutella lover who wishes that it could be healthy? Well it can.

This healthy treat is perfect for anytime that you are craving Nutella and need a quick & healthy alternative.

Healthy “Nutella” spread onto fresh apple rings, sprinkled with coconut.

Ingredients:

-2 tablespoons raw nut butter (almond, hazelnut, peanut, macadamia)

-2 teaspoons raw cocoa powder

-2 teaspoons pure maple syrup or agave

-1 teaspoon cold-pressed coconut oil

-1/2 teaspoon raw ground vanilla

-1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

-1 large apple

-a sprinkle of coconut flakes

Instructions:

-mix the nut butter, raw cocoa, maple syrup or agave, coconut oil (melted), vanilla and cinnamon until well blended

-cut apple in half horizontally

-core apple by cutting a circle shape out of the apple with a sharp knife to remove stalk and seeds

-spread the healthy “Nutella” over the top of each half of the halved apple

-sprinkle with coconut flakes

-eat and enjoy
