Get Your Dream Life in 3 Easy Steps

How to get your dream life?

In this post, I’m going to show you how to start making your “dream life” a reality in 3 steps.

What is your dream life?

Your dream life may include having your dream job, your dream house, your dream car, your dream body and having all of the time and money that you need to travel the world and do the activities that you enjoy.

But how do you get this life?

♥ In real life

Whatever you think, feel and believe is your reality.

What is your current reality? Do you like it? Do you like the life that you are living right now?

If you don’t like the current life that you are living then don’t worry, because you CAN change your reality simply by changing the way that you think and feel.

Picture your life and how you want it to be. Picture what kind of person you want to be in the dream life that you desire. Picture specific details and imagine how you would act, how you would think and how you would feel if you were living your ideal life.

Have you pictured yourself in your ideal life?

Now start to act, think and feel like that version of yourself would and live like that version of you would. You need to feel as if you are that version of yourself, living your dream life now. Think the way that you think, feel the way that you feel and live life the way that your ideal self would live it.


♥ The real truth

You have to take charge of your life. You have to realize that if you always wait for later, there will never be a later.

Once you start to live your life as if you already have the life of your dreams, that dream life will start to become your reality.

But the key is not to wait. Don’t wait, start now.

If you had your perfect dream life now then you would be happy, you would be thankful and you would see the whole world through eyes of love. You would love life, you would love yourself and you would love others. You would feel excitement, joy and love instead of fear, anxiety and negative feelings about all of the things that you want to achieve in life. You would fearlessly pursue your dreams and when you achieved those dreams, you would continue to dream bigger. You would feel good about the future and would feel good about life in general.


IS THIS JUST CRAZY TALK?

Now you may be thinking “Is this girl crazy? What kind of new aged nonsense is she trying to get me into?”

Lol. Okay, for real – I used to think this stuff was a load of rubbish.

But, I’ve come to see that this whole theory comes down to something very simple – and it’s something that can really benefit all of our lives.

The basic concept of this theory is just to realise what you want out of life (because most of us are living a day-to-day life, but we are not even sure what we want out of the future), to focus on what you want to achieve (this is so that achieving goals and getting the dream life can actually be possible – how do you get it, if you don’t know what it is?), and to feel good about the things that you want (do you think it’s easier to get something that you want when you are feeling good or bad?).

And that is all – it’s that simple. No crazy talk here.

What is the law of attraction?

“The law of attraction is like a catalogue, presenting you and your life with everything that you could possibly want. When you feel love about a certain something, you are saying yes to it and are attracting it into your life. There are no limits to what you can have.” says Rhonda Byrne, author of The Power

“Attraction is the force of love. Attraction is love. What you give out (in love) is what you get back. Like attracts like.”

“You are creating your life with your thoughts and feelings. Think about, talk about and do what you love and what you want. Everything you want to be, do or have comes from love,” says Byrne, “the positive force of love can create anything good, can increase the good things and change anything in your life. Nothing is impossible for the force of love.”

3 starting steps

1. Picture your dream life. Imagine specific details. Don’t be afraid to dream big and picture whatever you want in your life.

2. Imagine yourself in your dream life. How do you think, feel and behave in that dream life?

3. Now start to think and feel how you would in your dream life. Behave the way that you would behave if you already had your dream life. Think the way that you would think if you had your dream life. Feel how you would feel if you had your dream life.


START HERE

This lifestyle shift is a process, so don’t give up if you don’t see your life drastically change overnight. The process starts in your mind and then becomes what you see in your real life.

Just remember to be aware of your thoughts and feelings in every moment, because this moment is your reality and it is what is creating your future.

“How you feel in any one moment is more important than anything else, because how you feel right now is what is creating your life.” says Byrne

NOTHING TO LOSE

There is nothing to lose.

The only reason why you should try this mindset shift and new way of living (so that you are living in line with your future life and can receive it) is that there is no reason why you should not try this.

If you are afraid of failing, then you need to choose to not be afraid. If this theory does not work out then you have lost nothing, you have simply GAINED a positive attitude about life – and have changed the way that you think and feel to match your dream life. Either way, you will be better off.

Byrne says that you should “give love through your good feelings and what you want will appear”.


Google it + love it

Let’s live with love and start to live the life of our dreams!

All of the photo’s in this post were taken by me while traveling. If you want to travel the world, then you need to feel good about traveling. To start, Google some countries or places that you would like to visit, and stick pictures of those places in a spot where you can see them everyday.

The secret is to look at the photo’s and picture yourself visiting those places. Imagine yourself there in present time. You have to feel good about whatever you want to attract it into your life.

This doesn’t only apply to traveling – it may have to do with your dream house, dream car or even your dream job!
