My Easy Everyday Smoothie (dairy-free, sugar-free)

My everyday smoothie recipe with essential health boosting ingredients

I’ve been making this “go-to” everyday smoothie recipe for years. I started making this smoothie recipe about 8 or 9 years ago (crazy long ago), when I first started making smoothies.

Soon after I started making smoothies for breakfast, I got really into smoothies for a while – specifically this smoothie.

I made this smoothie every single morning for 2 years, and that is why I call it my “everyday smoothie”. Lol! I was so obsessed!

Now, I have many smoothie recipes that I love to make – but this will probably always be my classic go-to smoothie recipe. Still obsessed.

This recipe is dairy-free, sugar-free and plant-based. It also contains good protein, healthy fats and good carbs.

I hope that you love this recipe as much as I do! xo

My FAVE ingredients + extra protein

My favorite way to make this smoothie is to use a mix of frozen blueberries, cherries and raspberries – but you can use any berry mix that you love. I like to use unsweetened almond milk, but you can also use any other milk or substitute (cashew nut milk, oat milk, rice milk, dairy milk, etc.) – you can even use water (it won’t be as creamy, but it will work).

If you’d like to add extra protein to this recipe, try adding a tablespoon of almond butter when you’re blending your smoothie mix.

Ps. If you were wondering – adding avocado to smoothies adds really healthy fats, and it makes it extra creamy. You’ll love it!

What you’ll need

-1 cup (or 1 + 1/2 cups) forzoen berries

-1 medium banana

-1/4 to 1/3 avocado

-2 teaspoons chia seeds

-handful baby spinach

-1/2 to 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or another milk)

-1 teaspoon honey (optional)

-ice to taste

(serves one)

The Easy Method

-add all ingredients to blender

-blend all ingredients until smooth

-add ice to taste and blend again

-serve chilled, drink & enjoy!
