Simple Detox Salad
A SIMPLE DETOX
I like to make this simple detox salad when I feel like my body is in need of a little refresh or a cleanse.
When I eat make this salad, it’s usually because I’ve eaten something rich the day before (or the meal before) – and feel like I want to eat something really simple, clean, green and nourishing. I also like to incorporate this salad recipe into my diet when I do a cleanse for a few days.

This detox salad is really simple to make, and it contains ingredients that are amazing for detoxing the body.
This recipe is naturally free from sugar, dairy, gluten and grains.
THE RECIPE
Ingredients:
-1 carrot
-1 big handful baby spinach
-1 or 2 sticks of celery
-1/3 to 1/2 cucumber
-100g cauliflower florets
-1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar
-squeeze of fresh lemon juice
-sea salt & cracked black pepper (to taste)
(serves 1 as a meal or 2 as a side)
THE METHOD
Instructions:
-rinse all the fresh ingredients
-peel the carrot and then use the peeler to make carrot ribbons (you make the ribbons the same way that you peel the outer part of the carrot)
-cut the celery sticks into thin slices
-peel the cucumber and slice
-cut the cauliflower florets into small pieces
-shred the baby spinach (optional)
-mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl and drizzle with the apple cider vinegar and fresh lemon juice
-add sea salt & cracked black pepper to taste
-toss, serve fresh, eat & enjoy!
