Red Plum & Raspberry Smoothie (dairy-free, sugar-free)
A sweet, tangy & creamy red plum and raspberry smoothie. Delicious, healthy, refreshing and it just hits the spot! This easy recipe is naturally dairy-free, sugar-free and soy-free.
Ingredients:
-1 cup almond milk (unsweetened and preservative free)
-1 large banana
-3 dark red plums (the deeper the red, the better)
-1 cup frozen raspberries
-2 teaspoons raw ground vanilla (or pure, unsweetened vanilla extract)
-ice to taste (optional)
(serves 1 or 2)
Suggested toppings:
-raw macadamia nuts
-raw cashew nuts
Instructions:
-remove the pits from the plums and chop the plums into pieces
-place the banana, raspberries, chopped plums, almond milk and vanilla into a blender
-blend until smooth and creamy
-add ice (optional) and blend again
-top with macadamia & cashew nuts (optional)
-serve chilled & enjoy!
