Healthy Apple “Donuts”
A healthy and delicious “donut” sweet treat that is perfect for any time of day and only takes 2 minutes to prepare.
All you will need is an apple, some macadamia nut butter and a few nuts, coconut flakes and raw cocoa nibs for sprinkles.
Ingredients:
-1 apple (pink lady apples are the best)
-1 tablespoon macadamia nut butter (or any other nut butter)
-1 teaspoon 100% pure maple syrup
-a sprinkle of raw ground vanilla
-a few raw pistachio and pecan nuts (or any nut of your choice)
-raw cocoa nibs
-coconut flakes
Instructions:
-cut apple in half horizontally
-core apple by cutting a circle shape out of the apple with a sharp knife to remove stalk and seeds
-mix the maple syrup with nut butter until well blended
-spread macadamia nut butter over the top of each half of the apple
-sprinkle the toppings onto the nut butter
-eat and enjoy
