Healthy Chocolate Mousse (dairy-free, sugar-free, soy-free)
Chocolate mousse that is perfectly decadent, smooth, creamy, sweet and absolutely healthy – and it takes less that 5 minutes to make.
Completely dairy-free, refined sugar-free, soy-free, plant based, vegan, raw, Paleo & delicious. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
-6 teaspoons cacao powder (raw, unprocessed cocoa powder)
-4 teaspoons 100% pure maple syrup
-1 ripe avocado
-1/2 teaspoon ground vanilla powder or vanilla extract
-pinch cinnamon
-tiny pinch sea salt
Instructions:
-remove peel and pit from avocado
-in a high powered blender, food processor or with an electric beater, blend the avocado until smooth (with no lumps)
-add the maple syrup, cacao powder, vanilla, cinnamon and sea salt to the avocado in the blender
-blend until smooth
-serve, eat & enjoy!
Suggested toppings:
-coconut flakes or desiccated coconut
-fresh strawberries, raspberries or blueberries
-almond flakes
-chopped pecan nuts or chopped walnuts
-a drizzle of almond nut butter
Also delicious served with chia pudding.
