Is Exercise Really That Important? 3 Things You Need To Know
BUT DO WE REALLY NEED TO EXERCISE?
Here’s 3 things that you need to know
In this post, I’m going to share 3 things that you need to know about exercise – and why it really is important.
Exercise is not a pastime, hobby, a luxury or something that we do just for fun – or even to look good. It is a necessity. Exercising our bodies regularly is very important for many reasons.
When we move, we increase the flow of blood in our bodies which transports nutrients (from the food that we eat) to all of the cells in our bodies. When we move and breathe we also increase the amount of oxygen in our blood that gets transported around our bodies. Our bodies need nutrients and oxygen to function and survive.
When we exercise we are also strengthening our muscles (this includes all of our organs), bones and nervous systems. Regular exercise decreases the risk for all kinds of sickness and diseases. It also boosts the health of the immune system.
Our bodies need to move to be healthy and to maintain general good long-term health! Regular exercise is also a vital part of losing weight and shaping up.
What are the benefits of exercise?
There are many benefits of performing regular exercise and working out consistently. Not only does exercise promote healthy weight-loss, it can also tone and sculpt the body – and these are just some of the obvious benefits.
Regular exercise can increase and sustain energy, strengthen the immune system, strengthen the heart and boost the general mood of a person.
3 REASONS TO EXERCISE
1. BOOSTS METABOLISM + FAT-LOSS
Exercise promotes healthy fat-loss, and boosts the metabolism. When we exercise, the metabolism is fired up – promoting healthy fat-loss and toning of the body.
2. KEEPS US ENERGIZED
Exercise increases and sustains energy. When we exercise, energy levels are boosted – not only in the moment, but for hours afterwards (meaning that we can feel more energised all day).
3. KEEPS US ALIVE + HEALTHY
Exercise keeps body healthy – it strengthens the nervous system, heart, and all vital organs. When we exercise, we are not only boosting the metabolism and energy levels – we are also strengthening our most vital organs, which are what keep us alive and well.
