My current morning routine obsessions for a healthier day

Hey guys! Today I just wanted to share 3 simple things with you (aka my current 3 morning routine obsessions), that have been making a really positive impact on my day (they make me feel healthier, and more ready for my day). They are all very easy things, and that’s what I love most about them!

1 – A QUICK BREAKFAST WITH A HEALTH KICK

AKA an easy green smoothie with greens powder + spinach / or overnight oats with a probiotic coconut yogurt – GT’s CocoYo is my fave, and it def has a kick trust me (this is not your regular coconut yogurt, but a super healthy probiotic punch). It takes a minute to get used to, but it makes me feel so great. But you can also use any other coconut yogurt, or even a full cream dairy yogurt if you do eat dairy (I recommend plain unsweetened for both types).

For a super simple (less than 5 minute) breakfast, I’ve been loving to have overnight chia oats with a slight twist! I’ve been mixing sunflower seeds into the oats before I soak them, and then serving with coconut yogurt (the GT’s CocoYo in Pure), cantaloupe melon and berries!

Here’s the super quick recipe:

-1/2 cup rolled oats
-2 teaspoons chia seeds
-1 Tablespoon sunflower seeds
-1 cup water
-cinnamon
-1/2 cup unsweetened coconut yogurt
-1/2 to 1 cup cantaloupe melon
-1/2 to 1 cup berries (any type you prefer)

How I make it:

-mix the oats, seeds, cinnamon and water together and soak in a jar overnight
-in the morning serve in a bowl with coconut yogurt and fruit
-eat and enjoy!

OR – A simple green smoothie

I love a green smoothie for breakfast – especially if a want a super health kick for breakfast. But it has to be easy.. Try my fave smoothie recipes here (in this video).



2 – NATURAL GLOWY HONEST BEAUTY PRODUCTS

AKA Honest Beauty Magic Balm (the Magic Balm stick or the original Magic Balm) + Honest Beauty tinted lip balm in the shade Summer Melon

I use the Magic Balm to highlight my cheekbones, the tip of my nose, my cupids bow, and the center of my chin – it gives me super glowy natural look that I love, I’ve been obsessed with this product for years. See how I use it (in this video).

A new Honest Beauty favorite of mine is their tinted lip balm (well they have multiple shades and I’ve tried ALL of them hehe!). I love all the shades but my absolute faves are Summer Melon (probably my number 1 fave, which is a simple neutral pink shade), then Fruit Punch (slightly coral) and also White Nectarine (which is clear with multicolored pearl, it’s as simple and pretty as it sounds).



3 – A GINGER TEA IN THE AM

AKA Higher Living Organic Ginger Kick tea (it’s my fave ginger tea)

This tea has been a favorite of mine for a few years. I often have it at night, and I’ve been having it in the morning too. It’s great to have this if you wake up feeling a bit sick (like if you’re starting to get a cold, for example) – then I’ll take it with probiotics and vitamin C before breakfast.
