Superfood Smoothie (dairy-free, sugar-free)
A super health smoothie made with “superfood” ingredients. It’s delicious, sweet, creamy, filled with flavor & packed with nutrients.
What is a superfood? A superfood is a food that is considered to be beneficial for ones health because it is very rich in nutrients.
I created this smoothie to help restore balance to the body, it is therefore a well-balanced smoothie that contains healthy fats, good carbohydrates and plant-based protein with lots of superfoods.
I can honestly say that this smoothie is my favorite smoothie & it makes me feel amazing!

Superfood ingredients in this smoothie:
-dates
-coconut
-cinnamon
-maca
-chia seeds
-raw honey
-macadamia nuts
-vanilla
-avocado
-walnuts
Ingredients:
-2 fresh medjool dates
-1 teaspoon cold-pressed coconut oil
-1 or 2 teaspoons cinnamon
-2 teaspoons maca powder
-2 teaspoons chia seeds (ground)
-1 teaspoon raw honey (vegans can use 100% pure maple syrup)
-1 teaspoon raw macadamia nut butter (or another nut butter)
-1 teaspoon ground vanilla powder (or extract)
-1/2 large avocado
-1 cup pure coconut water (not from concentrate)
-ice to taste
Suggested topping:
-raw walnuts
Instructions:
-simply blend all of the ingredients together with the coconut water until smooth
-add ice to taste & blend again
-optional: garnish with raw walnuts (chopped or whole)
-serve chilled, drink & enjoy!
