Tropical Fruit Salad

Tropical Fruit Salad

A simple, yet delicious fruit salad that will make you feel as if you have arrived in the tropics!

I love to make this tropical fruit salad in summer because it seems to match the sunny, warm weather perfectly & in winter because it makes me feel like I am on sitting on a beach somewhere in the Bahamas… and I can forget about the cold winter air for a moment.

Sit back, relax and enjoy every mouthful…

-1/2 large papaya
-1/2 pineapple
-1 large banana
-1 guava
-2 oranges
-2 granadilla/ passion fruit
-20 raw or dry roasted Brazil nuts
-4 tablespoons coconut flakes

(serves 4)

-peel and chop/ slice the papaya, pineapple, banana, guava and oranges, remove the seeds from the papaya

-remove the pulp (with seeds) from the shells of the granadilla’s

-roughly chop the Brazil nuts

-mix the prepared fruit, the granadilla pulp, chopped Brazil nuts and coconut flakes together in a bowl

-serve fresh, eat & enjoy!
